Connection

I saw her neath the willow tree.
More comely damsel rarely found
I venture say, do be with me.
The wily dame will not be bound.

As cool stream waters flow oe’r her feet.
Do I bravely sit beside her ivory limbs.
This, no bustling city street.
Tis countryside in all it’s silent times.

Encouraged by her sidelong smile.
I venture closer, oh so brave.
Of timid nature, it takes a while.
Will I run, like a knave.

She beckons.
the male, oh so weak.
Is won, beside that cool creek.
